a5c7b9f00b A religious historical dramatic miniseries about God's creation and physical landmark events leading up to the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I wish I could day this to the series but of course nobody would listen and think that this is the most entertaining series of all time of the bible. The only thing is it' Hollywood and they hate Christianity and without this series nobody in the world would look back and laugh how badly made this series was and practically call it a joke. For me the first part of the series was okay with people talking about God but still missing the point of the scriptures and messages from the Psalms and Proverbs. They even made a scene with Satan where he is nothing more than a hooded spirit who walks around causing sin to the world. The second part of the series I hated the most because not only was Jesus poorly introduced and John the Baptist was beheaded in prison that Jesus had one more follower knownMary Magnelean. I hope that the Son of God movie next year is put together better than this rubbish. People who dare to mock the bible will end up in the fires of hell for all eternity I would expect the history channel version of the bible to be historically accurate (not filled with magic and mythology) and save this fancy story for the religious channels. Perhaps that is holding the history channel to higher standards than they deserve. As they tried to portray a story from history instead of history itself, they should have at least got the story correct. They leave out several key elements from the bible in order to propagate a kinder and more decent god than the vane and vengeful god of the bible story. If you are looking for a bible story that is true to the bible, I would suggest skipping this show, the inaccuracy will confuse your knowledge instead of teaching you about the bible. So even if you disagree with my view on the bible itself, this show does not reflect the biblical story so many have come to love and hate.
